Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

Battle Paws Foundation is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization. In accordance with Internal Revenue Service guidelines and standard nonprofit accounting practices, all donations are considered irrevocable, non-refundable gifts once accepted.

Limitation of Liability:
Except for the correction of verified duplicate transactions or processing errors, Battle Paws Foundation shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages resulting from the refusal to issue a refund. Our budget and operational commitments are based on these contributions; therefore, funds are immediately restricted for charitable use and cannot be returned under any other circumstances.

Tax Implications: Donors are solely responsible for all tax consequences that may arise from a refund. If a donation is refunded, the donor is responsible for adjusting any tax deductions previously claimed. We recommend consulting with a tax professional regarding the impact of a refund on your annual tax filings.

Right to Modify: Battle Paws Foundation reserves the right to revise or amend this policy at any time without prior notice to comply with changing legal requirements or organizational needs.

Refund Policy - the basics

As a nonprofit organization, Battle Paws Foundation relies on donations to fund our mission and programs. Because these contributions are immediately put to work, all donations are considered final and non-refundable.

Exceptions: The only exception to this policy is in the event of a documented processing error, such as a donation being accidentally charged twice or a technical glitch resulting in a duplicate transaction.Requesting a Refund: If you believe a duplicate transaction has occurred, please contact us at info@battlepawsfoundation within 10 days of the transaction date.

What to include in the Refund Policy

Please include your full name, the date of the donation, and the transaction amount to help us expedite your request.

Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the donation. Associated credit card processing fees will not be returned unless it is proven that the nonprofit system is at fault.
